Georgetown Neighborhood
My home in Georgetown
where I have lived since May 1990. It was built in 1820.
(Ever since October 1964, when I first met Mrs. Harold
B. Hinton,
the longtime chairwoman of the Zoning Committee
of the Citizens Association of Georgetown,
I have been active in protecting the beauty and historic nature of
this neighborhood.
I often helped Eva Hinton in many of her projects.
And in 1976 she sponsored my application
for membership in The City Tavern Club of Georgetown.
With these pages I hope to share some of the stories
about Georgetown that I heard from her and from others over the
years.)
